The IFA VA was founded by Romaine Howard, a Virtual Operations Partner with over two decades of experience across the financial services industry. She began her career in mortgages, processing applications, chasing lenders, and learning the importance of organisation and structure from the start. As her career developed, Romaine moved into supporting independent financial advisers both in the UK and across Europe. She spent a decade abroad helping to run an international advisory firm’s flagship office in Switzerland, with time also spent in France and Spain. Those years offered invaluable insight into how firms operate under different rules and pressures, and how strong systems and clear processes can transform even the busiest back offices. Today, Romaine brings that same calm, structure, and strategy to both International & UK advisory firms, helping advisers simplify, streamline, and scale their businesses.
